Pole For Freedoms
The Pole for Freedoms () was a centre-right political and electoral alliance in Italy, which was active from 1996 to 2000. It included Forza Italia (FI), the National Alliance (AN), Union of the Centre (UdC), Christian Democratic Centre (CCD), United Christian Democrats (CDD), and Pannella–Sgarbi List. History The Pole for Freedoms was formed as a continuation of the Pole of Freedoms and Pole of Good Government coalitions, which had both supported the leadership of Silvio Berlusconi at the 1994 general election: the Pole of Freedom was constituted by Forza Italy and Lega Nord, the Pole of Good Government by Forza Italia and the National Alliance. VIVA (German TV Channel)
Viva (stylized VIVA, but not an acronym according to program director Dieter Gorny) was a German free-to-air music television channel, first broadcast on 1 December 1993. The channel was intended to compete against MTV Europe and was the sole German-language music TV channel after the closure of musicbox in 1988, while MTV was only broadcast in English until the introduction of MTV Germany in 1997. It was also supposed to focus more on German music and pop culture while MTV only broadcast anglophone music by artists primarily from North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia. After years of competition for audience share, MTV Networks Europe eventually acquired VIVA on January 14, 2005, after it had exhausted its own efforts for superior ratings. MTV operated VIVA channels in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. MTV Italia
MTV is an Italian pay television network, owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA. History Prior to the launch of a 24-hour Italian speaking MTV, MTV viewers in Italy received the pan-European version of MTV. Regionalization of MTV in Europe began in March 1997 with the launch of a German-speaking MTV, followed by a UK branded channel in July of the same year. The Italian channel officially launched in London in September 1997, when its transmissions also entered into the television programming of Rete A. In 2000, MTV Italy moved to TMC2 (acquired by Telecom Italia and formerly known as Videomusic) becoming a standalone channel the following year and getting more and more like every other "big" network in Italy, showing news, movie trailers and other things which would never have fit into the former schedules of the channel. is a weekly news magazine based in the city of Milan, Italy. History and overview was founded in Milan in 1939. The magazine was temporarily closed by the Fascist rule in December 1940 due to the publication of the translated texts by Ada Prospero. Pietro Taricone (4 February 1975 – 29 June 2010) was an Italian actor, television personality, and reality show contestant on '' Grande Fratello''. An avid athlete and extreme sport enthusiast, he was nicknamed "O’ guerriero" ('The Warrior'). Taricone was born in Frosinone. He was a contestant on the first season of '' Grande Fratello'', the Italian version of '' Big Brother'', in 2000. On the show, Taricone had an affair with fellow contestant Cristina Plevani after just three days in the house. Taricone came in third place on the show, while Plevani won the season.
