2000 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup
The 2000 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup season was the tenth Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season began with non-championship round at Mugello Circuit on 16 April and finished at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on 10 December, after ten races. Cram Competition driver Felipe Massa claimed the championship title, taking three victories at Monza, Valencia and Magny-Cours. Charles Zwolsman Jr. finished as runner-up, losing 16 points to Massa. J.D. Motorsport's Matteo Grassotto won race at Circuit Park Zandvoort. His teammate Richard Antinucci took the first place in the next race at Spa. Other wins were scored by Markus Winkelhock, Kimi Räikkönen and Jörg Hardt. Lechner Racing, formerly known as Walter Lechner Racing is an auto racing team based in Austria. It is also known as the Lechner Racing School. A four-time champion, he holds the all-time record for the most drivers' championship titles won in the GT500 class of Super GT. The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. Fabrizio del Monte (born 5 December 1980 in Latina, Lazio) is an Italian racing driver. He drove for three seasons in European Formula 3000 before driving three Champ Car events in 2005, often on the strength of sponsorship. Danny Watts is a British professional racing driver. Career He was born in Aylesbury, and started racing in 1993, when he began karting.
