The 2000 All-Big 12 Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All-Big 12 Conference players for the 2000 Big 12 Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big 12 selectors: (1) the Big 12 conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big 12 also selected offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Media" team). 2000 Big 12 Conference Football Season
The 2000 Big 12 Conference football season represented the 5th season of Big 12 conference football, taking place during the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season. The season began with non-conference play on Saturday, August 26, 2000. Conference play began on Saturday, September 30, 2000. At the conclusion of the regular season, Kansas State won the North Division championship with a 11–3 (6–2) record. Oklahoma finished atop the South Division standings, with a perfect regular season 11–0 (8–0).
