2000 1. Divisjon
The 2000 1. divisjon, Norway's second-tier association football, football league, began play on 30 April 2000 and ended on 22 October 2000. The league was contested by 14 teams, and the top two teams won promotion to Tippeligaen, while the third placed played a promotion-playoff against the 12th-placed team in Tippeligaen to win promotion. Due to an expansion from 14 to 16 teams in the next season's First Division only two teams were relegated to the 2. divisjon. FK Lyn, Lyn and Strømsgodset Toppfotball, Strømsgodset won direct promotion to Tippeligaen, while Sogndal Fotball, Sogndal was promoted after having beaten Vålerenga Fotball, Vålerenga in the promotion-playoff. Strindheim IL, Strindheim and Eik-Tønsberg was relegated to the 2. divisjon. Hønefoss BK
Hønefoss Ballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Hønefoss, founded in 1895. The club was a part of the multi-sports club L/F Hønefoss, which folded in 2008. After 11 years in 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football, Hønefoss was promoted to Tippeligaen in 2009, where they finished 14th in 2010 Tippeligaen and was relegated after a relegation-playoff against Fredrikstad. In 2011, Hønefoss won the 1. divisjon and was promoted to the Tippeligaen for the second time in three years. Their second spell in Tippeligaen lasted for two seasons, and they were again relegated to the 1. divisjon in 2013. Espen Haug (footballer, Born 1970)
Espen Haug (born 30 January 30, 1970 in Oslo) is a Norwegian football coach. He is the current youth coach of Strømmen, and previously coached Drøbak/Frogn. In his active career he played for Strømmen, Vålerenga, Lyn, Ham-Kam and Hønefoss. Playing career He won the Norwegian Football Cup with Vålerenga in 1997, and scored one of the goals when Strømsgodset were beaten 4-2. He came to Ham-Kam from Lyn in front of the 2002 season and made his debut against Ørn-Horten 14 April 2002. When Ham-Kam were promoted in 2003, it became the third club Espen Haug earned promotion to Tippeligaen with. Managerial career In the middle of the 2006 season, he went to Hønefoss. Espen Haug was appointed coach in Drøbak/Frogn after the coach and athletic director Håvard Lunde resigned as head coach for the club in 2007 season. Marino Rahmberg
Marino Lars-Richard Ramberg (born 7 August 1974) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Starting his career with BK Forward in 1993, he went on to represent Lyngby FC, Degerfors IF, Derby County, AIK, and Raufoss IL before retiring at IFK Göteborg in 2003. A full international in 1997, he won four caps for the Sweden national team. Kurt Mørkøre
Kurt Mørkøre (born 20 February 1969) is a former Faroese football midfielder or striker who is currently manager of the Norwegian club Averøykameratene. He is the elder brother of fellow Faroese international Allan Mørkøre. He is a baker by profession. Lyn Fotball
Lyn 1896 Fotballklubb () is a Norwegian football club and a department of the sports club Ski- og Fotballklubben Lyn based in Oslo, whose members also participate in Nordic skiing and orienteering. Until 2010, SFK Lyn had two football departments, one professional section and one amateur section. After the professional football department, FK Lyn, was bankrupted in 2010, the fans decided to support the amateur department, Lyn Fotball, instead. With the help of some of the old FK Lyn players, Lyn Fotball has won three consecutive promotions, and are playing in the 3. divisjon. The 2001 2. divisjon was the third highest football league for men in Norway. 26 games were played in 4 groups—changed from the 8 groups in the 2000 season—with 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Tollnes, Åsane, Oslo Øst and Lørenskog were promoted to the 1. divisjon. Number twelve, thirteen and fourteen were relegated to the 3. divisjon. The 2001 Tippeligaen was the 57th completed season of top division football in Norway. Each team played 26 games with three points given for wins and one point for a draw. Byåsen Toppfotball is a Norwegian football club based in Trondheim and a section of the multi-sport organization Byåsen IL. Byåsen are currently playing in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of the Norwegian football league system, having last played in the 2. divisjon in 2019. Sandefjord Fotball, commonly known simply as Sandefjord, is a Norwegian professional football club, founded on 10 September 1998. The club currently competes in Eliteserien, the top tier of the Norwegian football league system. Their home ground is the Release Arena, located in Sandefjord, Vestfold.
