"2000" is a song by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released in November 2009 and was used as the theme song for the Swedish TV-series ''Hemlösa'', covering the homeless problem in Stockholm, and all proceeds were donated to the Foundation for the Homeless of Stockholm, ''Stockholms hemlösa''. Kent (band)
Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of ''Verkligen'' (1996) and led by the single "Kräm (så nära får ingen gå)". With origins rooted in distorted Rock music, rock, they found mainstream success through their alternative rock albums of the mid-1990s, 2000s and 2010s, the latter decades during which they adopted elements of Synth-pop, synthpop. Joakim Berg
Herbert Joakim "Jocke" Berg (born 16 March 1970) is a Swedish singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the alternative rock band Kent. Biography Berg was born and grew up in Eskilstuna. He moved to Stockholm in 1993 after the founding of Kent, and has lived there since. Berg was the main songwriter, lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the band, which officially disbanded on 17 December 2016, according to the band's official web site. He is the older brother of director Adam Berg, who has directed several of Kent's music videos. Artistic collaboration and side projects Berg has written songs for Veronica Maggio, Lisa Miskovsky, Petra Marklund and Smith & Thell. Joshua (born Jon Schumann in 1971) is a Danish and Swedish Grammy-awarded music producer and mixing engineer from Denmark. He has produced for bands such as Kent, Kashmir, Mew, D-A-D and Carpark North. Joshua produced the 1999 breakthrough album by the Danish rock band Kashmir, '' The Good Life'', which gave him the "Danish Producer of the Year" award at the 2000 Danish Grammy Awards. He produced the albums '' Tillbaka till samtiden'' and ''Röd'' by the Swedish alternative rock band Kent, released in 2007 and 2009, respectively. For the latter he was awarded "Producer of the Year" at the 2010 Swedish Grammy Awards. "Hjärta" is a song by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released as the second single from the band's eighth studio album, ''Röd'', on 21 December 2009 as digital download. The single contains the album version of "Hjärta" including two additional remixes. Music video Kent made a music video for the song in collaboration with TV3's '' Efterlyst'', where at the end of the video information was shown about a number of people who had been missing for a long time. ''Dagens Media'' The music video was directed by Robinovich. The video shows a number of naked people lying outside in the cold, holding a red thread.
