1st Mobile Contingent
The 1st Mobile Corps, also translated as 1st Mobile Contingent, is a corps leader grade formation of China's People's Armed Police (PAP). It was formed in 2017-2018 during PAP reforms from units previously subordinated to PAP mobile divisions. Mobile corps are rapid response formations tasked with internal stability, wartime support, and disaster relief. The 1st Mobile Corps is likely specifically tasked with reinforcing internal security forces in Beijing. History The 4th Mobile Detachment, 1st Mobile Corps deployed 1500 officers, 115 vehicles and 8 bridges to assist in fixing dams and highways along with transporting relief materials after the 2023 China Floods. OMON
OMON is a system of military special police units within the Armed Forces of Russia. It previously operated within the structures of the Soviet and Russian Ministries of Internal Affairs (MVD). Originating as the special forces unit of the Soviet Militsiya in 1988, it has played major roles in several armed conflicts during and following the 1991 dissolution of the Soviet Union. The 2nd Mobile Corps, also translated as 2nd Mobile Contingent, is one of two Mobile Corps (the other being the 1st Mobile Contingent) of the People's Armed Police and is headquartered in Changle district, Fuzhou. History The 126th Division was a military formation deployed by the People's Republic of China as part of the People's Volunteer Army (Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) or Chinese Communist Forces (CCF) during the Korean War. It had a standard strength of approximately 10,000 men.
