1News is the news service of the New Zealand television network TVNZ. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking, television production and video production. Several cameras—either film cameras, film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Angela Louise D'Audney (née Cerdan, 26 August 1944 – 6 February 2002) was a New Zealand television news anchor and occasional actress. Jennie Goodwin
Jennifer Goodwin (born ) is a New Zealand journalist, television newsreader and continuity announcer. On Monday 30 June 1975 she became a news presenter on the newly launched TV-2, making her New Zealand's first female television newsreader, and the first woman within the Commonwealth of Nations to present a prime time news programme. Prior to her work at TV-2, Goodwin worked in radio before moving into television in the 1960s, where she initially worked as a continuity announcer. Avalon is a suburb of Lower Hutt, in the Wellington Region of New Zealand. It was formed as a private residential development in the 1970s on land formerly occupied by market-gardens on the left (eastern) bank of the Hutt River. It features mostly California-inspired designed houses, often split-level, with 3 or 4 bedrooms. It also features Avalon Park, one of the biggest playgrounds in Lower Hutt. Warkworth () is a town on the Northland Peninsula in the upper North Island of New Zealand. It is in the northern part of the Auckland Region, north of Auckland and south of Whangārei, at the head of Mahurangi Harbour. State Highway 1 (New Zealand), State Highway 1 runs past it. Mahurangi Harbour and surrounding area has been settled by Māori people, Māori since at least the 13th century. Philip Sherry
Philip James Sherry (13 October 1933 – 18 July 2021) was a New Zealand broadcaster and local-body politician. He served as a newsreader for various radio and television stations between 1960 and 1990, including as one of three presenters selected to read the NZBC 1 News, ''Network News'' when it began in November 1969 and presenting the first ''Newshub, 3 National News'' bulletin on 27 November 1989. He later served as a local-body politician in Auckland and the Bay of Plenty. Biography Sherry was born and raised in Wellington. He began presenting radio in 1960 on the local station 2YD.
