19th Lux Style Awards
The 19th Lux Style Awards presented by Lux to honor the best in fashion, music, films and Pakistani television of 2019, held digitally on 31 December 2020. The awards were held virtually due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world. The ceremony was directed by Feriha Altaf. The ceremony was hosted by Ahmed Ali Butt and Mehwish Hayat. '' Ranjha Ranjha Kardi'' remained the most awarded television series while '' Laal Kabootar'' remained the most awarded film. Winners and nominees The nominations were announced on 3 October 2020. Films Television Criticism Despite winning for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Writer and Best OST Ranjha Ranjha Kardi did not win Best TV Play because it was an audience voted category. Ahmad Ali Butt () is a Pakistani actor, comedian, keyboardist, rapper, singer-songwriter, voice actor and television host. Early life and family background Ahmad Ali Butt was born on 6 March 1976 in Karachi into a family of Kashmiri ancestry. ''Superstar'' is a 2019 Pakistani romantic, musical-drama film, starring Bilal Ashraf and Mahira Khan. It is directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, produced by Momina & Duraid Films, and the music and screenplay are by Azaan Sami Khan. The story of the film follows Noori (played by Mahira Khan), who works in a theatre run by her uncle Agha Jan (played by Nadeem Baig), her entry in films and her romance and betrayal. Ali Aziz Sethi (Urdu/; ; born July 2, 1984) is a Pakistani-American singer, songwriter, composer, and author.
