30 Millions D'amis
''30 millions d'amis'' (English: "30 Million Friends") is a French television program, a French monthly magazine with its posters, and a French foundation: the Fondation 30 Millions d'Amis. All three focus on pets, especially cats, dogs, horses, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, mouse, mice, Domestic canary, canaries, parakeets, parrots, terrarium reptiles, goldfish, aquarium fish, and other exotic pets, but also wild animals like for example, bonobos and cheetahs. Television program The first episode of the program, initiative of the French journalist Jean-Pierre Hutin, who was worried about the fate of pets, was broadcast on 6 January 1976 on TF1. It is one of the television programs that has the fifth-longest longevity of the French audiovisual field, after ''Des chiffres et des lettres'', ''Automoto'', ''Thalassa (TV series), Thalassa'' and ''Stade 2''. Pierre Clémenti
Pierre André Clémenti (28 September 1942 – 27 December 1999) was a French actor. Life and career Born in Paris to an unknown father and Rose Clémenti, a Corsican concierge whose surname he took, Clémenti had a difficult childhood and took refuge in literature and the theatre. He studied drama and began his acting career in the theatre. He secured his first minor screen roles in Yves Allégret's '' Jack of Spades'' ("Chien de pique", 1960), performing alongside Eddie Constantine. Possibly his best remembered role was as the gangster lover/client of the bourgeois prostitute (Catherine Deneuve) in '' Belle de Jour'' (1967) directed by Luis Buñuel, in whose other film '' The Milky Way'' (1969) he played the Devil. Sport+ (French TV Channel)
Sport+ was a French cable television channel on cable and satellite owned by Canal+ and is devoted to live sports broadcasting. History The channel originally launched on 23 December 1996 as AB Sports. AB Sports was created by AB Groupe to be the sports channel of its AB Sat satellite package. However, the channel was too expensive for AB Groupe to run and had generated poor viewing figures because of its programming focusing heavily on foreign sports. AB Groupe sold 51% of the capital of AB Sports for 39 million France to Pathé, then launched thematic television channels. Pathé eventually renamed the channel under their own branding, to Pathé Sport in May 1999, with its programming focusing more on the French public, which made the channel gain some notoriety due to that, the live coverage of sport events and the variety of sports they offered. Automoto la chaîne is a French television channel dedicated to motorsports. History of the channel The channel was created in March 1996 for the AB Sat package under the name Automobile as a channel dedicated to cars in all ways (collections, history of classic models, tracks, etc.). Due to the same of AB Sports to the Pathé group in 1997, the channel was reformatted to fill the gap on the AB Sat package, and appeal to a young male audience. Animaux is a French pay television channel themed about animals. History Created in April 1996 ahead of the launch of its digital satellite package AB Sat, AB Animaux was dedicated to animal documentaries. In 1999, it was renamed as Animaux. La Chaîne parlementaire (; French for ''The Parliamentary Channel'') is a French television network created, along with its sister station Public Sénat, by law on 30 December 1999. It films and broadcasts live and recorded debates twenty-four hours a day, including committee hearings, questions to the government, and discussions concerning parliamentary debates and government policy. There are programs that focus on different levels of government; some programs are about Europe, others about local government. CNews (; stylised as CNEWS, formerly i>Télé) is a French free-to-air opinion channel launched on 4 November 1999 by Canal+. It provides 24-hour national and global news coverage. It is the second most watched news network in France, after BFM TV and before LCI and France Info. i>Télé was renamed CNews on 27 February 2017. Since this change, it has taken a conservative editorial stance, and is often compared to the American TV channel Fox News. It has been many times warned by French regulators ( ARCOM) for its failure to honestly and rigorously report news to the public or for illegal and reprehensible speeches.
