It was the sixth edition and was won by Algerian side MC Oran. 1995 Arab Super Cup
The 1995 Arab Super Cup was an international club competition played by the winners and runners up of the Arab Club Champions Cup and Arab Cup Winners' Cup. It was the second edition of the tournament to be played, but was the official first edition. Al-Shabab of Riyadh were crowned champions, with Saudi Professional League rivals Al-Hilal once again coming runners up. Also represented were Al-Ittihad, also of Saudi Arabia and the city of Jeddah and Egyptian giants Al-Ahly of Cairo. Abbasiyyin Stadium
The Abbasiyyin Stadium ( ar, مَلْعَب ٱلْعَبَّاسِيِّين, Malʿab al-ʿAbbāsīyīn) is a multi-use all-seater stadium in Damascus, Syria, currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home venue of the Syrian national team. The stadium which was built in 1976 is able to hold up to 30,000 spectators, being the 4th largest stadium in Syria. History The stadium was originally opened in 1957 with a capacity of 10,000 spectators, to host football matches and local athletics events. On the occasion of the 5th Pan Arab Games in 1976, the stadium was entirely renovated and the capacity was expanded up to 40,000 spectators. However, after the most recent renovation in March 2011, Abbasiyyin Stadium was turned into an all-seater stadium and the capacity was reduced to 30,000 seats. Al-Shabab Football Club ( ar, نادي الشباب), or The Youth Football Club, in English, is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Riyadh. It was founded in 1947, and was at first named ''Shabab Al Riyadh''. (), meaning Riyadhi Youth, but in 1967 was renamed ''Al Shabab''. History Al Shabab was the First football club in Riyadh. Al-Jaish Sports Club ( ar, نادي الجيش الرياضي) is a professional football club based in Damascus, Syria that competes in the Syrian Premier League, founded in 1947. The club plays at the Al-Fayhaa Stadium. The team colors are red and white. Al-Jaish is considered the most successful football club in the country and one of the most successful in the region, having won 17 official league titles, 9 Syrian Cups and 3 Syrian Super Cups, being the record holder in the number of league titles.
