The 1997 Asian Super Cup was the 3rd Asian Super Cup, a football match played between the winners of the previous season's Asian Club Championship and Asian Cup Winners Cup competitions. The Pohang Steelers (Hangul: 포항 스틸러스) are a South Korean professional Association football, football club based in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province that compete in the K League 1, the top flight of Football in South Korea, South Korean football. New Radiant Sports Club is a Maldivian professional football club based in Henveiru – Malé, Maldives. The club was founded on 19 August 1979 by Ahmed Waheed and his friend Ahammadhanik. Al-Nasr Sports, Cultural and Social Club (; also known locally as ''Al-Malik'', or "The King", or just plainly as Al-Nasr) is an Omani sports club based in Salalah, in southern Oman. Al-Arabi Sporting Club () is a multi-sport club based in Mansuriya district of Kuwait City. The most notable section is its professional football team in the Kuwait Premier League.
