Peter Senior
Peter Albert Charles Senior (born 31 July 1959) is an Australian professional golfer who has won more than twenty tournaments around the world. Senior has competed mainly on the PGA Tour of Australasia, where he has had the most success and won the Order of Merit on four occasions, and the European Tour. He has also played occasionally on the Japan Golf Tour and the United States–based PGA Tour. Senior has represented Australia in international competitions several times, and was a member of the International Team at the first two stagings of the Presidents Cup. Craig David Parry (born 12 January 1966) is an Australian professional golfer. He has been one of Australia's premier golfers since turning professional in 1985, and has 23 career victories, two of those wins being events on the PGA Tour; the 2002 WGC-NEC Invitational and the 2004 Ford Championship at Doral. AMP Air New Zealand Open
The New Zealand Open is the premier men's golf tournament in New Zealand. It has been a regular fixture on the PGA Tour of Australasia tournament schedule since the 1970s. The 2019 event was the 100th edition of the tournament. Since 2014 it has been held as a pro-am in February or March. The Greg Norman Holden International was a men's professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia. It was founded by Greg Norman in 1993, replacing the Johnnie Walker Australian Classic on the tour schedule, and was held until 2001. Holden Australian Open
The Australian Open, owned and run by Golf Australia, is the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia. The Open was first played in 1904 and takes place toward the end of each year. The winner of the tournament receives the ''Stonehaven Cup'', presented by Lord Stonehaven, the Governor-General of Australia from 1925 to 1930. It was first presented in 1930. Status The Australian Open was the flagship tournament of the PGA Tour of Australasia from 1992 to 2019. Phillip Mikaera Tataurangi (born 31 October 1971) is a New Zealand golfer. Career Tataurangi was born in Auckland. Australian PGA Championship
The Australian PGA Championship is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia. It is the home tournament of the Australian PGA. Since 2000 it has been held in the South East Queensland region. The tournament was part of the OneAsia Tour from 2009 to 2014, and it has been co-sanctioned with the European Tour from 2015 to 2019 and again in 2022. The championship started in 1929, when the Australian Golf Union decided to hold the Australian Professional Championship during their annual championship meeting. The leading 16 professionals in the Open championship qualified for the match play event, with four rounds of matches over 36 holes. Bernhard Langer
Bernhard Langer (; born 27 August 1957) is a German professional golfer. He is a two-time Masters champion and was one of the world's leading golfers throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Alfred Dunhill Masters
The Alfred Dunhill Masters was a golf tournament held from 1994 to 1996. The first two events were in Indonesia and the final event was in Hong Kong. It was always part of the Australasian Tour but co-sanctioned with the Asian Tour in 1996. In 1994 it was played at the Bali Golf and Country Club, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia; in 1995 it was played at the Emeralda Golf and Country Club, Jakarta, Indonesia; and in 1996 it was played at the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club. The prize money was A$350,000 in 1994, US$400,000 in 1995 and US$500,000 in 1996. The 1994 event received a decent amount of media attention for the "dramatic disqualification" of leader Nick Faldo. Bradley Hughes (born 10 February 1967) is an Australian professional golfer. Amateur career Hughes was born in Melbourne. As an amateur golfer, he won the 1987 and 1988 Victorian Amateur Championship, the 1988 New Zealand Amateur and represented Australia in several competitions including the 1988 Eisenhower Trophy. The Australian Tournament Players Championship was a golf tournament held in Australia between 1988 and 1999. The events was held in 1988 and 1989 at Riverside Oaks Golf Club, Sydney with both events being won by Greg Norman. Total prize money was A$300,000 in 1988 and A$500,000 in 1989. After a three-year gap the tournament was revived in 1993 as the Optus Players Championship. Prize money was A$300,000 in 1993, A$285,000 in 1994 and A$350,000 in 1995.
