The 1996 Formula Shell Zoom Masters season was the 12th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Draft pick Summary Formula Shell were off to a rousing start by beating defending champion Sunkist in their first game, 109-95 on February 20. The Zoom Masters won their first four games in the All-Filipino Cup. They finish second in the eliminations with nine wins and five losses and a game behind leader Alaska Milkmen. The Zoom Masters won their first two games in the semifinals but skidded in their last six outings, losing all their remaining matches and dropped to fifth place. Import Kenny Redfield moved over to Formula Shell after his former team Purefoods decided not to rehire his services in the Commissioners Cup and opted for former Swift import Ronnie Thompkins instead. Chito Narvasa
Andres "Chito" Yuseco Narvasa, Jr. (born October 18, 1956) is a Filipino business executive and former basketball player and coach. He is best known as the ninth commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association. Personal life He is the son of Andres Narvasa, a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, and Janina Yuseco. He is also the brother of former MBA and PBL commissioner Ogie Narvasa. Basketball Narvasa, along with his brother, Ogie, played for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. The Narvasa brothers were also part of the Philippine national teams of 1977 and 1978. They jointly coached the Blue Eagles from the early to late 1980s. The 1995 Formula Shell Super Unleaded season was the 11th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Known as Shell Rimula-X in the All-Filipino Cup. Draft picks Summary Shell Rimula-X scored a 100–88 victory over Ginebra San Miguel in the lone game at the start of the PBA's 21st season on February 19, Paul Alvarez dished out an impressive performance in giving new Shell coach Chito Narvasa his first win. The Turbo Chargers won their first three outings before losing to Ginebra in Cabanatuan City on March 5. Shell finish second and a game behind Sunkist with six wins and four losses at the end of the All-Filipino Cup eliminations. Richie Ticzon
Richard Anthony "Richie" Ticzon (born September 8, 1971 in Pasig) is a Filipino former professional basketball player and coach. Nicknamed The Velvet Touch for his outside shooting, Ticzon played college ball at the Ateneo de Manila University. Playing career He was selected fourth overall by Pepsi Mega in the 1994 PBA draft. Bobby Ray Parks Sr. (November 26, 1961 – March 30, 2013) was an American professional basketball player from Grand Junction, Tennessee. He played for Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) from 1980-1984 and played internationally in the Philippines, Indonesia and France.
