1995 UEFA Super Cup
The 1995 UEFA Super Cup was a two-legged match contested between the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup holders Zaragoza and the UEFA Champions League holders Ajax. The cup was played later than usual, the two legs taking place in February 1996. The first leg was drawn 1–1 at La Romareda in Zaragoza. The second leg was won 4–0 by Ajax at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Ajax won 5–1 on aggregate. Real Zaragoza
Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. (), commonly referred to as Zaragoza, is a football club based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, that currently competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish football league system, Spanish league system. Juan Miguel García Inglés (born 9 March 1971), known as Juanmi, is a Spanish retired professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. José Aurelio Gay López (born 10 December 1965) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder, currently a manager. He was associated with Zaragoza throughout his career, serving the club as both a player and manager. Francisco Nicolás Veza Fragoso (born 6 December 1970), known as Paqui, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left back. He played professionally for six clubs during 16 years, mainly Tenerife and Las Palmas. Club career Paqui was born in Alicante, Province of Valencia. Andoni Cedrún Ibarra (born 5 June 1960) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He appeared in 351 La Liga matches over 15 seasons, representing mostly Zaragoza with which he won three major titles, including the 1995 Cup Winners' Cup. He started his career with Athletic Bilbao.
