1995 NatWest Trophy
The 1995 NatWest Trophy was the 15th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 27 June and 2 September 1995. The tournament was won by Warwickshire County Cricket Club who defeated Northamptonshire County Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the final at Lord's. Format The 18 first-class counties, were joined by eleven Minor Counties: Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumberland, Devon, Dorset, Herefordshire, Norfolk, Staffordshire and Suffolk. The Ireland national cricket team and the Scotland national cricket team also participated. Test And County Cricket Board
The Test and County Cricket Board (TCCB) was the governing body for Test and county cricket in Great Britain between 1968 and 1996. The TCCB was established in 1968 to replace the functions of the Board of Control for Test Matches (established in 1898) and the Advisory County Cricket Committee (1904) which had been set up by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) to administer Test cricket in England and the County Championship respectively. In order to be eligible for government funding through the Sports Council, cricket needed an independent governing body and the representatives from the TCCB, together with representatives from MCC and the National Cricket Association (NCA), formed a new Cricket Council, initially known as the MCC Council. Cumberland County Cricket Club
Cumbria County Cricket Club (formerly Cumberland County Cricket Club) is one of twenty minor county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Originally, it represented the historic counties of Cumberland and Westmorland. It now represents the ceremonial county of Cumbria, as defined by the Lieutenancies Act 1997. Cumbria was first created in 1974 as an administrative county by combining the traditional counties of Cumberland and Westmorland along with Furness (formerly a district in Lancashire) and a small part of north-west Yorkshire. Dominic Ralfs
Dominic Francis Ralfs (born 16 December 1967) is a former English cricketer. Ralfs was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at Hendon, Middlesex. Ralfs made his debut for Cambridgeshire in the 1991 Minor Counties Championship against Staffordshire. From 1991 to 1999, he represented the county in 47 Minor Counties Championships matches, with his final appearance for the county coming against Buckinghamshire. He also represented Cambridgeshire in 16 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches from 1992 to 1999. Ralfs also represented Cambridgeshire in List-A cricket, with his debut List-A game coming against Hampshire. Not Out
In cricket, a batter is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batter is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with so the innings ends. Usually two batters finish not out if the batting side declares in first-class cricket, and often at the end of the scheduled number of overs in limited overs cricket. Daryll John Cullinan (born 4 March 1967) is a former South African first-class cricketer who played Test cricket and One Day Internationals for South Africa as a specialist batsman. He was regarded as the most gifted batsman of his generation as he was equally adept against pace or spin. Derbyshire County Cricket Club
Derbyshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Derbyshire. Its limited overs team is called the Derbyshire Falcons in reference to the famous peregrine falcon which nests on the Derby Cathedral (it was previously called the Derbyshire Scorpions until 2005 and the Phantoms until 2010).
