Association Football
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposition by moving the ball beyond the goal line into a rectangular framed goal defended by the opposing side. Bækkelagets Sportsklub is a Norwegian sports club from Bekkelaget in southern Oslo, founded in 1909. The club has sections for skiing (including ski jumping and biathlon), orienteering, handball, football, floorball and track and field athletics, previously also bandy. It is known for organizing one of the world's largest youth football tournaments, Norway Cup. Handball The club consists of 850 active handball players. The women's handball team won the Women's EHF Cup Winner's Cup in 1997/1998, and again in 1998/1999. The club also reached the final in EHF Women's Champions Trophy the same two seasons. Stovnerkameratene Ballklubb was a Norwegian sports club from Stovner borough, Oslo. The club was formed on 1 November 1989 as a breakaway faction of the multi-sports club IL Stovnerkameratene. The men's football team played in 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of Norwegian football. The team was close to win promotion to 2. divisjon, finishing 2nd in their group in 1992 and third in 1994. SF Grei is a Norwegian sports club from Rødtvet, Oslo. It currently has sections for association football, floorball and gymnastics. The women's team cooperated with Linderud IL on the team Linderud-Grei Toppfotball, which played in Toppserien, the highest league, but now exist as Grei Kvinner Elite. LSK Kvinner Fotballklubb is a Norwegian women's football club from Lillestrøm. They currently play in Toppserien, the top division of Norwegian football.
