The 1994 Los Angeles Raiders season was the franchise's 35th season overall, and the franchise's 25th season in the National Football League. They failed to improve on their 10–6 record from 1993 and missed the playoffs for the second time in three years. The Raiders would return to their original home in Oakland the following season. The American Football Conference – Western Division or AFC West is one of the four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Conrad Stephen Ortmayer (February 13, 1944 – March 9, 2021) was an American football player, coach, and executive who served as the general manager of the National Football League (NFL)'s San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams. Early life and playing career Born in Painesville, Ohio, Ortmayer grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas. He played one season at Vanderbilt University before transferring to the University of La Verne and playing three seasons there.
