Gary Moeller
Gary Oscar Moeller (; January 26, 1941 – July 11, 2022) was an American football coach best known for being head coach at the University of Michigan from 1990 to 1994. During his five seasons at Michigan, he won 44 games, lost 13 and tied 3 for a winning percentage of .758. In Big Ten Conference play, his teams won 30 games, lost 8, and tied 2 for a winning percentage of .775, and won or shared conference titles in 1990, 1991 and 1992. He left Michigan in 1995 following a drunken incident. Moeller also coached in professional football and was the head coach of the Detroit Lions for part of the 2000 season. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive American football plays#Offensive terminology, handoffs from the quarterback to Rush (American football)#Offense, rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and Blocking (American football), block. Napoleon Kaufman
Napoleon "Nip" Kaufman (born June 7, 1973) is an American former professional football player who played his entire career as a running back and kick returner for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington Huskies, earning All-American honors twice. After his playing career, he became an ordained minister and head football coach at Bishop O'Dowd High School and Dublin High School in the Bay Area. Early life Kaufman was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Lompoc, California, 55 miles west-northwest of Santa Barbara. At Lompoc High School he was one of the greatest high school running backs in California prep history. Mark Bruener
Mark Frederick Bruener (born September 16, 1972) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Washington Huskies, earning All-American honors in 1993. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft with the 27th overall pick. Bruener played nine seasons with the Steelers followed by five with the Houston Texans. Mark Allen Brunell (born September 17, 1970) is an American professional American football, football coach and former quarterback who is the quarterbacks coach for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). Elvis Grbac
Elvis M. Grbac (born August 13, 1970) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, most notably with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines, winning the Sammy Baugh Trophy, and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the eighth round of the 1993 NFL draft. Grbac spent his first four seasons as a backup with the 49ers before playing his next four seasons as the Chiefs' starter. The 1993 Washington Huskies football team was an American football team that represented the University of Washington during the 1993 NCAA Division I-A football season. In its first season under head coach Jim Lambright, the team compiled a 7–4 record, finished in fourth place in the Pac-12 Conference, Pacific-10 Conference, and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 288 to 198. In the United States, the Coaches Poll is a weekly ranking of the top 25 NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) college football, Division I (NCAA), Division I college basketball, and Division I college baseball teams. The football version of the poll has been known officially as the US LBM Coaches Poll since 2023.
