1993 was the second season Russia held its own national football competition since the breakup of the Soviet Union. Club competitions FC Spartak Moscow won the league for the second time in a row. 1992 In Russian Football
1992 was the first season Russia held its own national football competition since the breakup of the Soviet Union. Club competitions The teams participating came mostly from the Soviet Union leagues. New Top League had 20 teams, second-level First League had 3 zones and 52 teams in total and third-level Second League had 6 zones with 115 teams. FC Spartak Moscow won the championship. Franck Sauzée
Franck Gaston Henri Sauzée (born 28 October 1965) is a French former professional footballer and manager. Throughout his playing career, he played as either a midfielder or defender, representing the France national team on 39 occasions between 1988 and 1993, scoring nine goals, and captaining the team several times. He achieved great success at club level during the same period, winning the 1993 UEFA Champions League Final and three league titles with Marseille. Later in his career he earned great plaudits for his performances for Scottish club Hibernian, whom Sauzée subsequently managed for a short period. Yevgeni Aleksandrovich Bushmanov (; born 2 November 1971) is a Russian football coach and a former player. Playing career Bushmanov played for Shinnik Yaroslavl, Spartak Moscow, CSKA Moscow, Torpedo Moscow and Krylia Sovetov Samara. He played seven matches for Russia national football team and was a participant at the Euro 1996. In March 1991, he was a late substitute in the return leg of the 1990–91 European Cup quarterfinal as Spartak Moscow eliminated Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and reached semi-finals.
