1992 Meath Intermediate Football Championship
The 1992 Meath Intermediate Football Championship is the 66th edition of the Meath GAA, Meath GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for intermediate graded teams in County Meath, Ireland. The tournament consists of 20 teams. The championship starts with a group stage and then progresses to a knock out stage. This was Carnaross' return to the grade as they were promoted from the J.F.C. after claiming the 1991 Meath Junior Football Championship title. On 27 September 1992, St. Peter's Dunboyne claimed their 2nd Intermediate championship title (40 years after their first) when they defeated St. Patrick's 0–8 to 0–4 in the final at Pairc Tailteann. Meath Intermediate Football Championship
Meath Intermediate Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association second-tier competition between Gaelic football clubs organised by Meath GAA. The winning club is promoted to the Meath Senior Football Championship. In the 2024 final, Meath Hill defeated Navan O’Mahonys to win their first Intermediate championship and become a senior club for the first time in their history. Each year, the final takes place in Pairc Tailteann, Navan. The winning club competes in the Leinster Intermediate Club Football Championship. The current (2024) champions are Meath Hill. The club was one of several that contributed to the North Meath divisional side that won the Meath Senior Football Championship in 1950. St Patrick's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Stamullen, in County Meath, Ireland. The club competes at Intermediate level in football and Junior level in hurling in Meath GAA competitions. The club was founded in January 1950 by the amalgamation of Stamullen and Julianstown GAA clubs. St. Brigid's, Meath Hill Gaelic Football Club is a Gaelic football club based in northern County Meath, Ireland. History Meath Hill was founded in 1903 and played Castletown in the semi-final of the Meath Senior Football Championship. During some years of high emigration when the club was unable to field a team due to a lack of available players, many of the players played with North Meath Gaels. The 1991 Meath Senior Football Championship is the 99th edition of the Meath GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for senior graded teams in County Meath, Ireland. The tournament consists of 15 teams, with the winner going on to represent Meath in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. The championship starts with a group stage and then progresses to a knock out stage. This was Dunderry's return to the grade after claiming the 1990 Meath Intermediate Football Championship title. St Peters, Dunboyne is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the town of Dunboyne, in County Meath, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The tournament consists of 14 teams, with the winner going on to represent Meath in the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship. The championship starts with a group stage and then progresses to a knock out stage. This was Ballinlough's return to the grade after claiming the 1991 Meath Intermediate Football Championship title. Gaeil Colmcille were the defending champions after they defeated Walterstown in the previous years final, however they bowed out in the group stage with just only a draw to their name. Skryne claimed their 9th S.F.C. title when beating Seneschalstown 1–7 to 0–7 in the final at Pairc Tailteann on 27 September 1992.
