It is played on outdoor hardcourts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and is held in March. Conchita MartÃnez Bernat (born 16 April 1972) is a Spanish former professional tennis player and current coach. Andrei Eduardovich Chesnokov (; born 2 February 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Russia. Career Chesnokov's highest singles ranking was World No. 9 in 1991. The biggest tournament victories of his career came at the Monte Carlo Open in 1990, and at the Canadian Open in 1991 (both Tennis Masters Series events).
