1991–92 Santosh Trophy
The 1991–92 Santosh Trophy was the 48th edition of the Santosh Trophy, the main State competition for football in India. It was held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Kerala defeated Goa 3–0 in the final. It was the second title for Kerala which had lost in the finals in the previous four years. Quarter-final Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group4 Semi-finals ---- After saving the fifth penalty by I. M. Kerala Football Team
The Kerala football team (Malayalam: കേരള ഫുട്ബോൾ ടീം) is an Indian state level football team representing Kerala in Indian state football competitions including the Santosh Trophy. They have appeared in the Santosh Trophy finals 15 times, and have won the trophy 7 times. Kerala last won the Santhosh Trophy in 2022 by defeating Bengal in the final on 2 May at the Payyanadu Stadium in Malappuram. Selection is mostly done through Delhi Football League system. They have appeared in the Santosh Trophy finals twice, and have won the trophy only once, in 1944-45. Brahmanand Sankhwalkar
Brahmanand Sagoon Kamat Sankhwalkar (born 6 March 1954) is a former Indian footballer and a captain of the Indian team from 1983 to 1986, who played as a goalkeeper. Considered one of India's best goalkeepers, he had 25-year playing career. He played for Panvel Sports Club, Salgaocar, Churchill Brothers, Anderson Mariners at the club level, that included 17 years with Salgaocar, and for Goa state team in the Santosh Trophy. Playing for Goa, he led the team to two consecutive wins at the Santosh Trophy; in 1983 and 1984. Having maintained a clean sheet of 576 minutes in the 1984 tournament, he holds the Indian record. The All India Football Federation named him the player of the decade, for the 1985–1995 decade. Sudip Chatterjee (15 December 1959 – 18 September 2006), nicknamed ''Tulu'', was an Indian international football player and coach. He started his career as a centre back and then moved to the right back position before switching to the midfielder role. As a Midfielder, he was considered among the finest in Indian football. Playing career Sudip started his playing career with Howrah Sahajatri Club, where his skills were spotted by former India international Arun Ghosh. Derrick Pereira
Derrick Pereira (born 17 March 1962) is an Indian association football manager and former player, who managed then I-League 2nd Division club FC Goa Reserves and the India national under-23 football team. He is also the technical director of Indian Super League club FC Goa. Playing career Pereira's story began in the late 1970s when he started playing for local Goa clubs as a Child (Antao Brothers). His first move to a top club was with Salgaocar SC in 1980 where he stayed on till 1983. Later he moved on to Tata Football Academy and then back to Salgaocar SC in 1985. He stayed on at Salgaocar till the end of his career in 1999. Amongst the highlights of his career were leading Goa to victory in the 1980 Junior National Championship. Bruno Coutinho (born 6 October 1969) is an Indian football player from Goa, and winner of the Arjuna Award in 2001, a national Indian award for excellence in sport. Satyajit Chatterjee is an Indian former footballer and coach, who captained Mohun Bagan and represented India internationally. He is currently the assistant general secretary of Mohun Bagan AC.
