Martin Offiah
Martin Nwokocha Offiah MBE ( (''original pronunciation''), (''commonly used'')); born 29 December 1965) is an English former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Offiah was inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame in 2013. He scored over 500 tries during his rugby league career, making him the third-highest try scorer (and top try-scoring English player) of all time, and now features in a statue of great rugby league players outside Wembley Stadium. Jonathan Davies, OBE (born 24 October 1962) is a Welsh former rugby player who played in the 1980s and 1990s, and who represented Wales in both rugby union and rugby league. A goal-kicking backline player, he played his club rugby in Wales, England and Australia. Nicknamed 'Jiffy', Davies has since become a television commentator for both codes and a media personality, in both the Welsh and English languages. Andrew S. Currier is an English former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. A Great Britain national representative goal-kicking , he played most of his club rugby with English club Widnes as well as stints with Featherstone Rovers and the Australian team Balmain Tigers. John Anthony Devereux (born 30 March 1966) is a Welsh former dual-code rugby football international. Rugby Union In 1989 he toured with the British & Irish Lions, and at the time played club rugby union for Bridgend. Alan Victor Tait (born 2 November 1964) is a former Scottish dual-code rugby footballer, and now coach. He is a defence coach at the Super 6 side Southern Knights. He was previously head coach at Newcastle Falcons and a former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer. He played outside centre for Scotland (RU), and the British and Irish Lions. He played club rugby union for Kelso, Edinburgh and the Newcastle Falcons; and club rugby league for Widnes and Leeds. Gary Nolan (rugby League)
Gary Nolan (born 31 May 1966) is an English former rugby league footballer for Hull FC. Nolan was a substitute, and scored a try in Hull FC's 14–4 victory over Widnes in the Premiership Final during the 1990-91 season at Old Trafford, Manchester on 12 May 1991. He had previously scored the winning try in the semi-final against Leeds, leapt into the air to collect a bomb from Greg Mackey and taking the ball out of the hands of Leeds "star" All-Black full-back John Gallagher. Nolan had been an amateur with Hull Dockers just six weeks previously. He made his mark in the Old Trafford game after entering as a 48th-minute substitute. He claimed the clinching try in the 14–4 win with just 10 minutes remaining when he stretched out an arm through a tangle of bodies. Jon Sharp (born 8 March 1967) was the head coach of Featherstone Rovers from 2015 to 2017. Between 2004 and 2008 he was head coach of the Huddersfield Giants, having been appointed in 2003 when Tony Smith left the club for the Leeds Rhinos.
