The 1989 3. divisjon, the third highest association football league for men in Norway. 22 games were played in 5 groups and 18 games were played in 1 group, 3 points given for wins and 1 for draws. Sprint/Jeløy, Sandefjord, Kristiansund, Os , Hødd and Skarp were promoted to the 2. divisjon. The three worst placed teams in each group were relegated to the 4. divisjon, except the best performing team finishing third to last. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Jevnaker Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Jevnaker. It has sections for association football, speed skating, gymnastics and skiing. Football The men's football team currently plays in the Third Division, the third tier of Norwegian football, having been relegated from the Second Division in 2011. FK Vigør is a Norwegian football club from Hellemyr, Kristiansand. ''Vigør'' is the Norwegian name for vigor. The club colors are brown and white, and the club was founded on 5 October 1918. The men's team currently resides in the Third Division, the fourth tier of Norwegian football, having last played in the Second Division in 2000. Langesund IF
is the administrative centre of the municipality of Bamble, Norway. The town of Langesund was established as a municipality 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). It was merged with Bamble 1 January 1964. In the early days, Langesund was one of the most important shipping towns in Norway. Peter Wessel Tordenskiold got one of his ships built in Langesund, '' Løvendals Gallej''. It was known as Longsound in English in the 1800s. It is possible to visit the remains of the old Coastal Fortress on Langesundstangen on the extreme end of the Langesund peninsula. The fort was established during the Second World War by Nazi Germany and later used by the Norwegian Coastal Artillery and Home Guard until 1993. Kjelsås Fotball is the association football section of the sports club Kjelsås IL, based in the Kjelsås/ Grefsen area of Oslo, Norway. The club was founded in 1913. It currently plays in the 2. divisjon, having been relegated from the 1. divisjon in 2001. Kjelsås played play-off against Kongsvinger to earn promotion to Tippeligaen in 1998, but lost 7–2 on aggregate. FK Jerv
Fotballklubben Jerv is a Norwegian football club from Grimstad. ''Jerv'' is the Norwegian name for wolverine. They currently play in the Eliteserien. History The club was founded in 1921, as Vestergatens FK, named after the street in which the foundation took place, but later changed name to Djerv and then Jerv. In the 1970s and 1980s the team had a number of foreign coaches, including Bo Johansson who managed the team in 1984 and 1985 and went on to coach several clubs and national teams. In November 2007 Jerv signed another well-known ex-footballer Tore André Dahlum as coach. In 2021, Jerv were promoted to the top division, Eliteserien, for the first time in their history. They were promoted through the play-offs, where they beat Brann in the final. The score was 4–4 after extra time, but Jerv won 8–7 on penalties. Fotballklubben Donn is a Norwegian football club from the neighbourhood Lund in Kristiansand, most notable for its women's football team. It was founded on 24 June 1909 and named after a dog. Donn Toppfotball The women's football team Donn Toppfotball played in Toppserien, the highest tier of women's football in Norway, for two periods. The first spell was between 1993 and 1995, and the club also reached the final of the Norwegian Women's Cup in 1994 where they were beaten by Trondheims-Ørn.
