Lokomotiv 1929 ( bg, Локомотив 1929) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia, which currently plays in the First League, the top tier of Bulgarian football. Founded as Railway Sports Club in 1929, and refounded in 2015, following bankruptcy, the club has played at Stadion Lokomotiv since 1985. Lokomotiv has won four League titles and four Bulgarian Cups. Lokomotiv established itself as one of Bulgaria’s top clubs throughout history, performing strongly both domestically and internationally. Iliya Iliev (defender)
Iliya Iliev ( bg, Илия Илиев; born 20 December 1974) is a former Bulgarian footballer, who played as a midfielder. Career Iliev started his professional career with Septemvri Sofia after coming up through their youth academy. He played a major part in the club's promotion to the A PFG in 1998, after a 37-year exile. In 1998–99 season he made his debut in the top flight, making 23 appearances during the campaign, but Septemvri won just four games and were relegated. He was sold to Litex Lovech in 2000 for €40,000, winning the Bulgarian Cup a year later. Iliev played only 10 games in the league for Litex. Having failed to break into the first team, he signed for Spartak Varna in early 2002. In 2003 Iliev joined Russian side Terek Grozny. He became a regular in the Terek first team, scoring three goals in 30 appearances in the Russian First Division. Tenyo Minchev
Tenyo Tenev Minchev ( bg, Теньо Тенев Минчев; born 3 March 1954) is a Bulgarian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Tenyo Minchev started his career in Energetik Galabovo before moving to Beroe Stara Zagora in 1973. He became one of the key players and was team captain for 12 years. With Minchev's help, Beroe became champions in 1985–86 season. After a short stint in Lokomotiv Stara Zagora, Tenyo Minchev moved to Soviet side Krylia Sovetov Kuybyshev. He became the first foreign player in Soviet football. After playing 28 matches for Krylia Sovetov, Minchev ended his career. Minchev played 4 official and 3 unofficial matches for Bulgaria. Ivko Ganchev Ivanov ( bg, Ивко Ганчев Иванов; born 21 July 1965 in Stara Zagora) is a former Bulgarian football goalkeeper. He ended his career at the end of 1999–2000 season. He started his manager career with his home town club Beroe Stara Zagora. OFK Spartak ( bg, ОФК Спартак) is a Bulgarian municipal association football club from the city of Pleven founded on 10 September 1919. It currently competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football.
