1985 SEA Games
The 1985 Southeast Asian Games (), officially known as the 13th Southeast Asian Games, were a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Bangkok, Thailand from 8 to 17 December 1985. This was the fourth time Thailand hosted the games and its first time since 1975. The country had previously hosted the 1959, 1967 and the 1975 editions, at the time when the games were then known as the Southeast Asian Peninsular (SEAP) Games. The games was opened and closed by Bhumibol Adulyadej, the King of Thailand at the Suphachalasai Stadium. The final medal tally was led by hosts Thailand, followed by Indonesia and the Philippines. Several Games and National records were broken during the games. With little or no controversies at all, the games were deemed generally successful with the rising standard of competition amongst the Southeast Asian nations. Siamese Cat
The Siamese cat (; แมวสยาม, Maeo Sayam; แมววิเชียรมาศ, Maeo Wichien Maat) is one of the first distinctly recognised breeds of Asian cat. It derives from the Wichianmat landrace. The Siamese cat is one of several varieties of cats native to Thailand (known as Siam before 1939). The original Siamese became one of the most popular breeds in Europe and North America in the 19th century. Siamese cats have a distinctive colourpoint coat, resulting from a temperature-sensitive type of albinism. Distinct features like blue almond-shaped eyes, a triangular head shape, large ears, an elongated, slender, and muscular body, and various forms of point colouration characterise the modern-style Siamese. The Southeast Asian Games, commonly known as SEA Games is a biennial multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of Southeast Asia. The games are under the regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia.
