The 1985 Major League Baseball draft took place in June 1985. The draft saw the Milwaukee Brewers select B. J. Surhoff first overall. Peter Joseph Incaviglia (born April 2, 1964) is an American professional baseball coach and former left fielder who is currently the manager for the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association of Professional Baseball. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 12 seasons (–), for six different big league teams, and also spent one year in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Michael Thomas Campbell (born February 17, 1964) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He was picked in the first round (7th overall) by the Seattle Mariners in the 1985 Major League Baseball Draft, out of the University of Hawaii. He attended West Seattle High School and Newport High School in Bellevue Wa. Campbell was named Pacific Coast League Most Valuable Player in 1987 while coming up through the Mariners system with the Calgary Cannons before his MLB debut that same year. Glendora High School (GHS) is located in Glendora, Los Angeles County, California, United States. History The high school was built in 1958 on land owned by Clarks Gordan, an orange grower. Before it was built, Glendora students attended Citrus Union which functioned as both a high school and junior college for the area.
