The 1984 USFL Territorial Draft was the second Territorial Draft of the United States Football League (USFL). It took place on January 4, 1984, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. The Roosevelt Hotel (Manhattan)
The Roosevelt Hotel was a hotel at 45 East 45th Street (between Madison Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue) in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Named in honor of U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt, the hotel was developed by the New York Central Railroad and the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad and operated from 1924 to 2020. The 19-story structure was designed by George B. Post & Son with an Italian Renaissance Revival-style facade, as well as interiors that resembled historical American buildings. The Roosevelt was one of several large hotels developed around Grand Central Terminal as part of Terminal City. The hotel building contains setbacks to comply with the 1916 Zoning Resolution, as well as light courts above the third story on Madison Avenue. The hotel was mostly constructed above Grand Central Terminal's railroad tracks, so different sets of columns were used for the lower and upper stories. Fredd Young
Frederick Kimball Young (born November 14, 1961) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Seattle Seahawks and the Indianapolis Colts. Quency Williams
Quency Leon Williams (April 10, 1961 – April 2022) was an American gridiron football defensive end who played six seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Calgary Stampeders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He played college football at Auburn and also had stints with the Birmingham Stallions, Los Angeles Raiders, Arizona Outlaws and BC Lions. He won the 78th Grey Cup with the Blue Bombers.
