Henri Leconte
Henri Leconte (; born 4 July 1963) is a French former professional tennis player. He reached the men's singles final at the French Open in 1988, won the French Open men's doubles title in 1984, and helped France win the Davis Cup in 1991. During his career, he won singles titles on all four major court surfaces: hard, clay, grass and carpet. Leconte's career-high singles ranking was world No. 5. Biography and career Leconte first came to the tennis world's attention as an outstanding junior player who won the French Open junior title in 1981. He turned professional that year and won his first career doubles title at Bologna, and his first top-level singles title the following year, 1982, in Stockholm. Stefan Edberg
Jan Stefan Edberg (; born 19 January 1966) is a Swedish former professional tennis player. He was ranked as the world No. 1 in both men's singles and men's doubles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), one of two players in the Open Era to hold both positions (alongside John McEnroe). Edberg won 41 career singles titles and 18 doubles titles, including nine majors: six in singles and three in men's doubles. A major practitioner of the serve-and-volley style of tennis, Edberg also won the 1989 year-end championships, led Sweden to four Davis Cup titles, and won four Masters Series titles and four Championship Series titles. Ramesh Krishnan
Ramesh Krishnan (born 5 June 1961) is an Indian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. As a junior player in the late 1970s, he won the singles titles at both, Wimbledon and the French Open. He went on to reach three Grand Slam quarterfinals in the 1980s and was a part of the Indian team captained by Vijay Amritraj which reached the final of the Davis Cup in 1987 against Sweden. Krishnan also beat then-world No. 1, Mats Wilander, at the 1989 Australian Open. He became India's Davis Cup captain in 2007. Eric Fromm (born June 27, 1958) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Tennis career Fromm's best result at a Grand Slam was reaching the fourth round of the 1983 French Open – Men's singles, French Open in 1983 in singles, where he lost in straight sets to world No. 1 in the world Jimmy Connors and the semifinals of the 1984 French Open doubles with Shlomo Glickstein of Israel, where they lost in five sets to Yannick Noah and Henri Leconte. Marko Ostoja
Marko Ostoja (born 20 October 1960) is a former professional tennis player from Croatia who competed for Yugoslavia. Career Ostoja was the Yugoslavian National Champion in 1978, having earlier won the event as a junior, in the 14s, 16 and 18s age groups. He had his best year on tour in 1981 when he won his first career title at Brussels and reached the doubles finals of the Austrian Open. The Croatian also reached the semi-finals in Stowe, Vermont, that year. In 1982 he made the third round of the 1982 French Open, with wins over José Luis Damiani and Gilles Moretton. Harold Solomon (born September 17, 1952) is an American former professional tennis player who played during the 1970s and 1980s. He achieved a career-high world ranking of No. 5 in singles in 1980, and of No. 4 in doubles in 1976. Over the course of his career, he won 22 singles titles. Peter Rennert (born December 26, 1958) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. He achieved career-high rankings of World No. 40 in singles (in 1980), and World No. 8 in doubles (in 1983). Magnus Tideman (born 9 April 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. He won one doubles title and achieved a career-high of World No. 43 in 1988. Henrik Sundström
Henrik Sundström (born 29 February 1964) is a former professional male tennis player from Sweden. He is nicknamed Henke. Sundström was at his best on clay and achieved his strongest results on this surface, with his solid and heavy topspin groundstrokes from the baseline.
