The 1982 PBA All-Star Series is the first official North vs South All-Star Game series by the Philippine Basketball Association and was presented by Mello Yello. The PBA North All-Stars defeated the South team with a more total points in the two-game series, 242-240. The South All-Stars won the first game in Cebu Coliseum The Cebu Coliseum is an indoor arena in Cebu City, Philippines. Its seating capacity is around 5,000. The Cebu Coliseum is an indoor arena in Cebu City, Philippines. Its seating capacity is around 5,000. The coliseum hosts various sports events and concerts in Cebu and is the primary venue for CESAFI games. It was also the home of the Cebu Gems of the defunct MBA. On August 4, 1962, one of the first events it hosted was a fight between hometown hero Gabriel "Flash" Elorde and Japanese boxer Terou Kosaka. Arnulfo "Arnie" Tuadles (August 15, 1956 – November 2, 1996) was a Filipino professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Career Tuadles began his career as a stalwart in the MICAA, playing for the Manilabank Golden Bankers in the mid-1970s before peddling his wares with the San Miguel Braves. He was one of the many talented Visayan players who donned the SMB uniform in the MICAA as the company was one of the movers and believers of tapping basketball talents from the grassroots. The Toyota Super Corollas were a multi-titled basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) from 1975 to 1983. Mello Yello is a highly caffeinated, citrus-flavored soft drink produced, distributed and created by The Coca-Cola Company that was introduced on March 12, 1979, to compete with PepsiCo's Mountain Dew. Mello Yello was withdrawn from Australia in the early 1990s, being replaced with the similar but uncaffeinated Lift. Robert Vincent Salazar Jaworski Sr. (; born March 8, 1946) is a Filipino former professional basketball player, head coach and politician who served as a Senator of the Philippines from 1998 to 2004.
