1980–81 Copa Del Rey
The 1980–81 Copa del Rey was the 79th staging of the Spanish Cup, the annual domestic cup competition in the Spanish football. The tournament was attended by 138 teams from the main categories of Spanish football. The tournament began on 10 September 1980 and ended on 18 June 1981 with the final, held in Vicente Calderón Stadium in Madrid, in which the FC Barcelona was crowned for the nineteenth time in their history, after beating Sporting de Gijón 3–1. The defending champions, Real Madrid CF, were defeated 4–3 (on aggregate score) by Sporting de Gijón on their way to reach their first final. Helenio Herrera Gavilán (; 10 April 1910 – 9 November 1997) was an Argentine, naturalized French, football player and manager. He is best remembered for his success with the Inter Milan team known as '' Grande Inter'' in the 1960s. Carles Rexach i Cerdà (; born 13 January 1947) is a Spanish former football winger and manager. His career was mainly associated to Barcelona, spending 44 years at the club as a player (youth levels included) and coach. He formed a successful partnership with Johan Cruyff, both on and off the field, and as a player appeared in 638 games and scored 197 goals, winning the Pichichi Trophy in 1971; he won a combined eight titles both capacities combined, including the La Liga championship in the 1973–74 season and the 1979 Cup Winners' Cup. Allan Simonsen
Allan Rodenkam Simonsen (born 15 December 1952) is a Danish former footballer and manager. He most prominently played as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, winning the 1975 and 1979 UEFA Cups, as well as for Barcelona in Spain, winning the 1982 Cup Winners' Cup.
