The 1976 Football Championship of Ukrainian SSR was the 46th season of association football competition of the Ukrainian SSR, which was part of the Soviet Second League in Zone 6. The season started on 3 April 1976. The 1976 Football Championship of Ukrainian SSR was won by FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. The "Ruby Cup" of ''Molod Ukrayiny'' newspaper (for the most scored goals) was received by FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. Ukrainian Soviet Competitions
The Championship of the Ukrainian SSR in football was a top competition of association football in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Ukrainian SSR in 1921-91. Number of Ukrainian clubs almost never competed in the championship such as FC Dynamo Kyiv, Dynamo Kyiv. The competitions were organized by the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR that was created in 1959 in place of the Football Section. Before 1980 selected teams of Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic, Moldavian SSR participated in the championship. Historical outlook Established as the All-Ukrainian inter-city competition in 1921, later it was included into number of All-Ukrainian Olympiads and Spartakiads. FC Bukovyna Chernivtsi
Football Sports Club Bukovyna Chernivtsi is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Chernivtsi. History The club was established in 1958 as Avanhard Chernivtsi (Avangard Chernovtsy) for republican competitions and became the first club from Chernivtsi Oblast to be added to the Soviet Class B competition in 1960. Before 1958 Chernivtsi were presented several times by various teams in republican competitions like Burevisnyk (1956), Dynamo (1948, 1950–1955), Spartak (1946, 1947, 1949), Lokomotyv (1949). From 1992–94, Bukovyna played in the Ukrainian Premier League, after being initially chosen to participate for being one of the Ukrainian teams taking part in the Soviet First League in 1991. SKA Kiev
Ska (; ) is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae. FC Zirka Kropyvnytskyi ( uk, ФК "Зірка Кропивницький") is a Ukraine, Ukrainian amateur football club from Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad Oblast, with its team currently playing in the Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship, Ukrainian Amateur League. The club traces its history of a football team that existed at the British factory of Elvorti (Elworthy) since 1911. After the occupation of Ukraine by Bolsheviks, the factory was "nationalized", its team was dissolved, and the factory was converted into Soviet factory "Chervona Zirka", hence the club's name. FC Shakhtar Horlivka ( uk, Шахтар (Горлівка)) was a Ukrainian football club from Horlivka, Donetsk Oblast. Since its relegation from professional leagues in 2000, the club participated in the regional competitions of Donetsk Oblast until the War in Donbass.
