Tweede Divisie
Tweede Divisie (; ) is the highest amateur (and historically the lowest professional) football league in the Netherlands. It was established in 1956, together with the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. Between 1956 and 1960 and between 1962 and 1966, the league consisted of two divisions, Tweede Divisie A and Tweede Divisie B. The league was disbanded in 1971. Six clubs were promoted to the Eerste Divisie (AVV De Volewijckers, De Volewijckers, FC Eindhoven, VVV-Venlo, FC VVV, Fortuna Vlaardingen, PEC Zwolle, PEC and Roda JC Kerkrade, Roda JC), while the other eleven teams became amateur clubs. Plans for a new, amateur Tweede Divisie, to be made up of 4 reserve teams and 14 Derde Divisie, Topklasse clubs, were approved in a Royal Dutch Football Association, KNVB assembly in December 2014. SC Gooiland
SC 't Gooi (Sport Club Het Gooi) is a sports club from Hilversum, Netherlands. The club was established on 19 October 1905 as Hilversumsche Voetbal Club Rapiditas, abbreviated as HVV 't Gooi. In the 1950s and 1960s it played professional soccer under this name. The professional division continued under the name SC Gooiland from 1965 until 1971. With Amsterdam nearby, many players of Ajax Amsterdam developed at 't Gooi. History Henk Twelker played for 't Gooi 1921–22 continuing to Ajax Amsterdam. Wim Anderiesen played for 't Gooi 1922 through 1926, also continued to Ajax, as well to an international career on the Netherlands national football team. 1969–70 KNVB Cup
The 1969-70 KNVB Cup was the 53rd edition of the Netherlands, Dutch national Association football, football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. It began on 19 October 1969 and ended with the final on 27 May 1970. Eventual champions Ajax lost to AZ '67 in the Third Round of the competition, however were placed into the Quarter Final as Lucky loser, lucky losers. This lucky loser rule had been in use for multiple years due to the KNVB Cup only allowing professional clubs was immediately abolished due to the backlash. Defending champions Feyenoord lost in the Second Round to GVAV-Rapiditas. PSV Eindhoven contested in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1970-71, Cup Winners' Cup, since Ajax were league champions of the 1969-70 Eredivisie, and would reach the semi finals. DOS Holland Stichtse Boys Combinatie, commonly known as DHSC, was a Dutch association football club based in the Ondiep district of Utrecht.
