Fredrik Nyberg
Mats Fredrik Nyberg (born 23 March 1969) is a former Swedish alpine skier. He was born in Skön (Sundsvall). Excelling in giant slalom and super-G, he won a total of seven World Cup A world cup is a global sporting competition in which the participant entities – usually international teams or individuals representing their countries – compete for the title of world champion. The event most associated with the name is ... races in those disciplines. He took part in a total of five Winter Olympics; his 5th-place finish in the 2006 Olympic giant slalom was his best Olympic result. Nyberg planned to end his career after the 2006–07 season, but crashed during practice in Austria on 10 November 2006, causing a serious knee injury. The injury forced him to end his career at the age of 37 without a start in his last season. Albert Viksten
Albert Viksten (born 8 April 1889 in Vojen, Grangärde parish, Västernorrland, Sweden) was a Swedish writer of the proletarian school. He is most notable for his work regarding the life of the people working for the Swedish forest industry and for his portraits of nature. He was also an early debater of the consequences of the human industry on the environment. Viksten worked in the forest and railway industry and as a sailor before he became a journalist and writer. Albert was married to Lisa Viksten (formerly Brolin) and had 4 children, Sven, Hans, Karin and Marta. Olivia Nordgren
Olivia Lovisa Nordgren (; 27 February 1880 – 7 June 1969) was a Swedish politician of the Social Democrats. She is known as one of the key figures of the Social Democratic struggle against poverty in Sweden in the 1930s. Life Olivia Nordgren was born in Gislöv in Skåne to the farmer Lars Jönsson and Ingrid Olsdotter Hallberg. Between 1894 and 1911 she worked at the newspaper '' Trelleborgs Allehanda'' in Trelleborg, first as an apprentice typographer and then as a typographer. In 1908, she married Seth Nordgren, editor of the Social Democratic local newspaper ''Arbetet''. She had four children. Political career Nordgren became a member of the Swedish Social Democratic Party in 1909. Kurt Petter
Kurt Petter (3 February 1909 – 3 October 1969) was a German physician, youth leader and educational administrator. Petter was born in 1909, the son of Bernhard and Marie Petter. He studied medicine at the University of Würzburg, University of Bonn and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. During his final exam period he was pediatrician to the Hitler Youth in Jena. He was appointed Hitler Youth area leader for Weimar region in 1933. In 1939 he was appointed head of the Reichsführerschule in Potsdam. In January 1937 he served as an inspector-general of the Adolf Hitler Schools with the rank of Gebietsführer. On 20 April 1942 he was promoted to Obergebietsführer and served as Deputy to Artur Axmann and as head of the Adolf Hitler Schools. Bruno Söderström
Vilhelm Bruno Söderström (28 October 1881 – 1 January 1969) was a Swedish track and field athlete. He competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games and 1908 Summer Olympics in the javelin throw, pole vault and high jump and won three medals. He also served as the Swedish flag bearer at the 1906 Games. Söderström represented IFK Stockholm. His elder brother Gustaf Söderström, Gustaf competed in athletics events at the 1900 Games. Söderström won the pole jump event (as it was called at the time) at the British 1907 AAA Championships. The following year he finished second behind Edward Archibald (athlete), Ed Archibald at the 1908 AAA Championships. Besides athletics, Söderström was a banker and a sports administrator. Mats Söderlund (born 25 July 1967), better known by his stage name Günther, is a Swedish singer. Career Söderlund was a model in his youth, and later the owner of two nightclubs in Malmö. Günther's 2004 song " Ding Dong Song" became popular in Sweden. The song (which featured Günther's backup singers, the Sunshine Girls) topped the Swedish charts in 2004 and would go on to be featured on his album '' Pleasureman''.
