1967 RCD Cup
The 1967 RCD Cup was the second edition of the RCD Cup. The event was held at the Dhaka Stadium in Dhaka, East Pakistan, (now Bangladesh). This was a three nation tournament played in league format between Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. East Pakistan
East Pakistan was the eastern province of Pakistan between 1955 and 1971, restructured and renamed from the province of East Bengal and covering the territory of the modern country of Bangladesh. Its land borders were with India and Burma, with a coastline on the Bay of Bengal. East Pakistanis were popularly known as "Pakistani Bengalis"; to distinguish this region from India's state West Bengal (which is also known as "Indian Bengal"), East Pakistan was known as "Pakistani Bengal". Fevzi Zemzem (27 June 1941 – 21 March 2022) was a Turkish professional association football, footballer who played as a striker (association football), striker for Göztepe A.Ş., Göztepe and the Turkey national football team, Turkey national team. Playing career Zemzem played for Göztepe A.Ş., Göztepe for his entire fourteen-year professional career. He scored 136 goals Süper Lig, Turkish league goals during that time and was the List of Süper Lig top scorers, top scorer in the 1967–68 1.Lig, 1967–68 season. Hassan Habibi (footballer)
Hassan Habibi (, born February 7, 1940) is a retired Iranian association football player and manager. Playing career Habibi was born in Kerman, but at the age of four his family moved to Tehran, where his father found a job as a clerk for the Ministry of Health. He started his football career with Shahin F.C. and was selected to play for the national team in 1958. In 1960, he joined Esteghlal F.C., Taj S.C. where he played for a few seasons. In 1964, he joined PAS Tehran F.C., PAS Tehran and played there until 1971, when he retired. Parviz Ghelichkhani (, born 4 December 1945) is an Iranian-French retired football player and former captain of Iran national football team. He is now based in France, where he is the editor and publisher of a political magazine. Club career He played for Alborz F.C. Mohammad Ranjbar (; 1 January 1935 – 29 June 2004) was an Iranian footballer and coach. Ranjbar played for Taj Tehran and Pas Tehran. He was a member and captain of Iran national team. Sardar Aslam (; born 1945) is a Pakistani former footballer, who played as a striker. Aslam played for the Pakistan national football team between 1965 and 1969, and served as captain of the national team at the 1969 RCD Cup. Early life Aslam was born in 1945, in Quetta, capital of the Balochistan Agency, British India. Club career Sardar made his club debut for Afghan Club Quetta in 1960 at the regional Quetta Football League, and played for them till 1964. He later played for Dhaka Wanderers.
