Đorđe Andrijašević ( sr-cyr, Ђорђе Андријашевић; born 5 May 1931), credited as Giorgio Andrijassevic in Italy, is a Serbian professional basketball former player and former coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. He was the first coach to use full-court press technique in Europe. Playing career Andrijašević played for Crvena zvezda from 1950 to 1956. During that time he won six Yugoslav Championships. In July 1950, he was a member of the Zvezda squad that won an international cup tournament in Milan, Italy. After 1955, he played in Italy and France. Branko Nešić
Branko Nešić ( sr-cyr, Бранко Нешић; born 17 August 1934) is a Serbian-American former professional basketball player. Playing career Crvena zvezda Born in Belgrade, Nešić began with his basketball career with his hometown team Crvena zvezda Juniors. There his coach was Milan Bjegojević. In 1952, he joined the first team of Crvena zvezda. On 18 May 1952, Nešić made his Yugoslav League debut in a 44–22 win over Borac Čačak, recording two points. He won his first National Championship that season. He won three more titles in next three seasons, from 1953 to 1955. During his tenure in the Zvezda, his teammates were Bjegojević, Đorđe Andrijašević, Ladislav Demšar, Srđan Kalember, Borko Jovanović, Borislav Ćurčić, Dragan Godžić, Đorđe Konjović, and Obren Popović, while the team was coached by Nebojša Popović. Milan Bjegojević
Milan "Musa" Bjegojević ( sr-cyr, Милан "Муса" Bjegojević; August 9, 1928 – October 2, 2003) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Best known for many years of playing at Crvena Zvezda. In the red-and-whites was from 1947 to 1955, played 113 competitive games and scored 786 points. In all nine seasons with the Red Star became nine consecutive times champion of Yugoslavia. Dragan Godžić
Dragan Godžić ( sr-cyr, Драган Гоџић; 14 April 1927 – 23 June 1988) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Godžić was a member of the first managing board of the Crvena zvezda basketball club. Playing career Godžić played for a Belgrade-based team Crvena zvezda of the Yugoslav First League. During the time with Crvena zvezda he won seven Yugoslav Championships. National team career Godžić was a member of the Yugoslavia national basketball team that participated at the 1953 European Championship in Moscow, the Soviet Union. Srđan Kalember ( sr-cyr, Срђан Калембер; June 5, 1928 – February 2, 2016), also known in France by his nickname Serge ( sr-cyr, Серж), was a Serbian professional basketball player and coach. Aleksandar Gec ( sr-cyr, Александар Гец; 3 March 1928 – 12 April 2008) was a Serbian professional basketball player, coach and administrator. He was the first basketball star of Crvena zvezda. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Early life Gec spent his whole lifetime in Belgrade, where he finished his education. He went to the Third Men's Gymnasium. Ladislav Demšar ( sr-Cyrl, Ладислав Демшар; March 3, 1928 – May 15, 1992) was a Yugoslav basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Borislav Ćurčić ( sr-cyr, Борислав Ћурчић; January 27, 1932 – April 15, 2015) was a Serbian basketball player and coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Early life Born in the village of Podum near Otočac (nowadays in Croatia), in addition to basketball, Ćurčić also pursued skiing. Košarkarski klub Olimpija () was a men's professional basketball club based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
