Sir Richard Stuart Lake, (July 10, 1860 – April 23, 1950) was an English-born Canadian territorial provincial and federal level politician from Saskatchewan, Canada. Territorial politics Born in Preston, Lancashire, England, Lake was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the North-West Territories for the Grenfell district in the 1898 Northwest Territories general election. In 1900 he vacated his seat to run in Assiniboia East in the 1900 Canadian federal election. After being defeated in his first attempt at federal politics he ran for his old seat and was re-elected as the MLA in a by-election on March 22, 1901. Lake was acclaimed to his second term in office in the 1902 Northwest Territories general election. Pierre-Évariste Leblanc
Sir Pierre-Évariste Leblanc, (; August 10, 1853 – October 18, 1918) was born in Saint-Martin (today part of Laval, Quebec). He was a Quebec Conservative Party leader but never premier. First elected to the Legislative Assembly in a by-election in 1882 in the riding of Laval, he served as leader of the Opposition from 1905 to 1908, when he lost the 1908 election and his own seat. Served as the 11th Lieutenant Governor of Quebec from February 12, 1915, until his death in Spencer Wood, Sillery, in 1918. Leblanc was buried at cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges in Montreal. Augustine Colin Macdonald (June 30, 1837 – July 16, 1919) was a Canadian merchant and political figure. John Strathearn Hendrie
Sir John Strathearn Hendrie (August 15, 1857 – July 17, 1923) was the 11th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario from 1914 to 1919. John Hendrie was born in 1857 in Hamilton, Canada West and was educated at Upper Canada College. He became a railway contractor and promoted the Hamilton Bridge Works. In 1885 he married Lena Henderson. He was Mayor of Hamilton, Ontario from 1901 to 1902. He was then Member of Provincial Parliament from 1902 to 1914, where he held the positions of Minister without Portfolio and Hydro-Electric Commissioner. He joined the Hamilton Field Artillery in 1883 and later commanded the 2nd Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery (of the Canadian Militia) until 1909. Hendrie was appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ontario in 1914 and served until 1919. Much of his time in Office was spent contributing to the War Effort and hosting soldiers, seamen and dignitaries. MacCallum Grant
MacCallum Grant (May 17, 1845 – February 23, 1928) was a Canadian businessman and the 12th Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Born at Loyal Hill (in the area of Summerville) in Hants County, Nova Scotia, the son of John Nutting and Margaret (MacCallum) Grant, Grant was educated in Newport, Nova Scotia. He commenced his business career with S. A. White & Co, in 1873. He was a member of the firm Black Bros. Co. from 1875 to 1893. He then formed the firm Grant, Oxley & Company. Grant, Oxley & Company merged with Alfred J. Bell & Co. Ltd. in 1964 and still operates today under the name of Bell & Grant Insurance. In 1899 he was appointed as Imperial Consul of Germany in Halifax. From 1916 to 1925, he served as Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia.
