Héctor Castro
Agustín Héctor Castro Rodríguez (29 November 1904 – 15 September 1960) was a Uruguayan football player and coach. He scored Uruguay's first ever goal in a World Cup against Peru at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930 a tournament they would go on to win. Early life Castro was born in Montevideo. When he was 13, he accidentally amputated his right forearm while using an electric saw, which gave origin to his nickname, ''El manco'' (meaning "the one-armed", or "the maimed"). Playing career 1933 Uruguayan Championship In the 1933 Uruguayan Championship, Peñarol player Braulio Castro scored a controversial goal in the championship match where the ball clearly went out of play, but rebounded off a kinesiologist's medicine cabinet back into play in the build-up to the goal. Luigi Bertolini
Luigi Bertolini (; 13 September 1904 – 11 February 1977) was an Italian Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Busalla, province of Genoa, Bertolini played in the 1920s for Savona, U.S. Alessandria Calcio 1912, Alessandria and Juventus FC, Juventus. He moved from Alessandria to Juventus in 1931, becoming an integral part of the remainder of their five-year championship run. In total, he played 137 matches for Juventus, scoring five goals, helping the team to win four Serie A tournaments. He retired from playing football in 1940. International career With the Italy national football team, Bertolini made his debut in 1929, and was a member of the teams that was runner-up at the 1931-32 Central European International Cup & winner at the 1933–35 Central European International Cup but most notably he was also a member of the team that won the 1934 FIFA World Cup. George Biswell
George William Biswell (1 September 1904 – September 1981) was an English professional footballer. He played for St Albans City and Watford before moving to Charlton Athletic, where he spent the majority of his career. He also played for Chelsea between his two spells with 'The Addicks'. Playing career Biswell began his career as an amateur footballer at St Albans City and left after a short time to join Watford, before turning professional with Charlton Athletic. He stayed with the London club until January 1928, when he made the journey across the capital to sign for Chelsea. Chelsea Making his debut for the Blues in a 1–0 win against Clapton Orient, Biswell went on to play a further four games in his first season, scoring on 5 May 1928 when Barnsley overcame the Pensioners 2–1 at Stamford Bridge. Puck Van Heel
Gerardus Henricus "Puck" van Heel (21 January 1904 – 19 December 1984) was a Dutch footballer. He earned 64 caps for the Netherlands national football team, and played in the 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cups. He also represented the Netherlands at the 1928 Summer Olympics. During his club career, he played for his home town club of Feyenoord. Normally an inside left or left wing half, Van Heel was a slow player but possessed considerable vision and technical ability and was particularly good passer. He held the Dutch caps record from 4 April 1937 (when he equaled the total of Harry Dénis) until 22 May 1979 (when his total was surpassed by Ruud Krol). Galt Football Club
Galt Football Club was a soccer club based in Galt, Ontario, current day Cambridge, Ontario. It was formed in either 1881 or 1882. Galt won the 1901, 1902, and 1903 Ontario Cups, and most notably the 1904 Olympic soccer tournament. History Galt was historically one of the greatest soccer clubs in Canada. Their first major honour came in the form of the 1901 Ontario Cup and they repeated this success as champions in the next two seasons. In 1903, Galt went on a tour of Manitoba. In a span of 25 days, which included 17 games, Galt won 16 and tied 1. On that tour, they scored 46 goals and conceded 2. Galt's most notable triumph came in 1904 at the Olympics in St. Louis, where they represented Canada. They had to face two American sides. A total of three club teams competed, two representing the United States, both from host city St. Louis, and one representing Canada, from Galt (now Cambridge), Ontario.
