Irish Monarch
Monarchical systems of government have existed in Ireland from ancient times. This continued in all of Ireland until 1949, when The Republic of Ireland Act 1948, the Republic of Ireland Act removed most of Ireland's residual ties to the British monarch. Northern Ireland, as part of the United Kingdom, remains under a monarchical system of government. The office of High King of Ireland effectively ended with the Anglo-Norman invasion of Ireland (1169–1171) in which the island was declared a fief of the Holy See under the Lordship of the King of England. In practice, conquered territory was divided amongst various Anglo-Norman noble families who assumed title over both the land and the people with the prior Irish inhabitants being either displaced or subjugated under the previously alien system of serfdom. Sir George Bingham, 2nd Baronet
Sir George Bingham, 2nd Baronet (c. 1625 – 1682) was an Irish politician and baronet. He was the only son of Sir Henry Bingham, 1st Baronet and his wife Catherine Byrne, daughter of John Byrne. In 1658, Bingham succeeded his father as baronet. He entered the Irish House of Commons for Castlebar in 1661, representing the constituency until 1666. Bingham was appointed High Sheriff of Mayo in 1662 and again in 1678. In 1663, he became Custos Rotulorum of Mayo. Family Bingham married firstly Anne Partiger, 1 June 1661 at St. Benet's, Paul's Wharf, London, and had a son Henry. Anne died c. 1661. Bingham married secondly Rebecca Middleton, daughter of Sir William Middleton, 2nd Baronet, and Eleanor Harris on 5 December 1661. and had a child George. Connor Roe Maguire (died 1625)
Connor Roe Maguire (; died 25 December 1625) was an Irish Gaelic chief from Magherastephana, County Fermanagh, nicknamed the Queen's Maguire for supporting Elizabeth I's campaign in the Nine Years' War. Connor sought to displace his overlord kinsman Hugh Maguire as Lord of Fermanagh. Clerk Of The Crown And Hanaper
The Clerk of the Crown and Hanaper was a civil servant within the Irish Chancery in the Dublin Castle administration. His duties corresponded to the offices of Clerk of the Crown and Clerk of the Hanaper in the English Chancery. Latterly, the office's most important functions were to issue writs of election to the Westminster Parliament, both for the House of Commons and for Irish representative peer in the House of Lords. Arthur Chichester, 1st Baron Chichester (May 1563 – 19 February 1625), known between 1596 and 1613 as Sir Arthur Chichester, of Carrickfergus in Ireland, was an English administrator and soldier who served as Lord Deputy of Ireland from 1605 to 1616. He was instrumental in the development and expansion of Belfast, now Northern Ireland's capital.
