''13 Voices'' is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41, released on October 7, 2016. It is the first of two albums by the band to be released through independent label Hopeless Records. It is also Sum 41's first album to feature drummer Frank Zummo, who replaced original drummer Steve Jocz, and their first album to feature guitarist Tom Thacker. The album also features the return of longtime lead guitarist Dave "Brownsound" Baksh (who left in 2006 and returned in 2015). The album is also their first as a five-piece band. On May 11, 2016, the band announced that they had signed to Hopeless Records to release the crowd-funded project. Sum 41 was a Canadian rock band formed in Ajax, Ontario, in 1996. The band's final lineup consisted of Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Dave Baksh (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason McCaslin (bass, backing vocals), Tom Thacker (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals), and Frank Zummo (drums, occasional backing vocals). In 1999, Sum 41 signed an international record deal with Island Records and released its first EP, '' Half Hour of Power'', in 2000. Tom Thacker (musician)
Thomas William Arnold Thacker (born April 11, 1973), known by his stage name Brown Tom, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, singer, and record producer. He is the lead guitarist, lead singer and co-founder of the punk rock group Gob, as well as the former co-lead guitarist, keyboardist, and backing vocalist for Sum 41. Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1993. Following Dave Baksh's departure from Sum 41 on May 11, 2006, Thacker was recruited as their touring guitarist, and then became an official member in 2009. He had remained with Sum 41 ever since (even after Baksh rejoined the band in 2015), up until the group's disbandment in 2025. Though primarily known as a vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist, Thacker's first instrument was the drums. ''Chuck'' is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. The album was released on October 12, 2004. It was the last album to feature guitarist Dave Baksh before his departure from Sum 41 on May 11, 2006. Baksh later rejoined the band in 2015. ''Chuck'' peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 10 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, making it the band's highest-charting album until it would be surpassed by '' Underclass Hero'' in 2007. Jason "Cone" McCaslin (born September 3, 1980) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the bassist and backing vocalist of the band Sum 41. He and frontman Deryck Whibley are the only two members of the band to appear on every studio album. Early life McCaslin began playing bass at the age of 14, as a member of a grunge garage band called Second Opinion. He is of Irish/ Swedish descent. McCaslin attended Exeter High School in Ajax, Ontario along with fellow Sum 41 band members Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, and their former drummer Steve Jocz. "With Me" is the third single from Sum 41's 2007 studio album ''Underclass Hero''. A ballad, the first live performance of "With Me" was on January 26, 2008 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. On February 4, Sum 41 announced that they had filmed the video for "With Me", and the song was later featured on Season 1, Episode 7 of ''Gossip Girl''.
