Michaela Paľová (born 6 March 1975) known under her stage name Misha, is an R&B and soul music, soul vocalist, from Slovakia. She has released three studio albums. Her latest album, ''13000krát'', was released in October 2007. Her first single "Náladu mi dvíhaš" was released in June 2002 and scored No.1 on the Slovak airplay chart. It was followed by a second single, "Druha," written by the American bassist and composer Gregory Delcore, which remained on the top of the Slovak airplay chart for 6 weeks. Misha was the winner of the Coca-Cola Pop Star talent contest in 2002. In 2002, 2003, and 2004 she received a number of Slovak Music Academy and popularity awards. Michalovce
Michalovce (; , , Romani language, Romani: ''Mihalya'', Yiddish language, Yiddish: מיכאלאָווצע ''Mikhaylovets'' or ''Mykhaylovyts''; ) is a town on the Laborec river in eastern Slovakia. Originally named after the Archangel St Michael, it is the second-largest city in the Košice Region and the seat of the Michalovce District. The 100 Greatest Slovak Albums of All Time is a list of the best album releases issued by Slovak recording artists. As the first such list presented in Slovakia, it was published by ''Nový čas'' daily on 22 September 2007. The list is entirely composed of Slovak, or else of formerly Czechoslovak artists, featuring all albums published in the country of origin from the 1960s onwards. Some of nominated full-length records could have been performed also in a different language (occasionally in English but partially). Ranking itself was based on votes received from twenty-five selected native-born musicians, critics and/or industry figures.
