Sudip Roy Barman is an Indian politician from Tripura. He served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), MLA of the Tripura Legislative Assembly from the Agartala (Vidhan Sabha constituency), Agartala constituency which he held since 1998 by winning four elections consecutively on Indian National Congress, INC ticket by handsome margins. In 2018, he contested from Agartala (Vidhan Sabha constituency), Agartala constituency and won on Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP ticket. On 7 February 2022, he quit Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP and resigned from his Member of the Legislative Assembly (India), MLA post. On 8 February he joined the Indian National Congress in Delhi. Brishaketu Debbarma (born May 17, 1977) is a politician from Tripura, India. He was a member of 12th Tripura Legislative Assembly.
