The 12th Arabian Gulf Cup () was held in the UAE, in November 1994. The tournament was won by Saudi Arabia for the first time Iraq were banned from the tournament because of invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Fuad Anwar
Fuad Anwar Amin (; born 13, October 1972) is a former Saudi Arabian footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He spent the majority of his career with Al Shabab FC (Riyadh), Al-Shabab FC and also had a stint at Al Nasr FC in Asian football, Al-Nasr FC in Saudi Arabia. Fuad Anwar captained the Saudi national team and is notable for being the only Saudi player to have participated in the FIFA World Cup across all age categories, including the FIFA Club World Cup. Mahmoud Yassen Soufi (20 October 1971 – 2 June 2019) was a naturalized Qatari footballer. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
