12th AACTA Awards
The 12th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (generally known as the AACTA Awards) was an award's ceremony to celebrate the best of Australian films and television of 2022. The main ceremony occurred on 7 December 2022 at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney and was broadcast on Network 10 and Fox Arena. The recipient of the Longford Lyell Award was costume, production and set designer Catherine Martin. Foxtel is an Australian pay television company—operating in cable television, direct broadcast satellite television, and IPTV streaming services. It was formed in April 2018, superseding an earlier company from 1995. Longford Lyell Award
The Longford Lyell Award is a lifetime achievement award presented by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA), a non-profit organisation whose aim is "to identify, award, promote and celebrate Australia's greatest achievements in film and television." The award is presented at the annual AACTA Awards, which hand out accolades for technical achievements in feature film, television, documentaries and short films. From 1968 to 2010, the award was presented by the Australian Film Institute (AFI), the Academy's parent organisation, at the annual Australian Film Institute Awards (known as the AFI Awards). Emile Sherman

''The Stranger'' is a 2022 Australian psychological crime thriller film written and directed by Thomas M. Wright, starring Joel Edgerton and Sean Harris. Leah Maree Purcell (born 14 August 1970) is an Aboriginal Australian stage and film actress, playwright, film director, and novelist. David Jowsey is an Australian film producer, co-founder of Bunya Productions. He is known for producing many films made by Indigenous Australian filmmakers.
