121st Territorial Defense Brigade (Ukraine)
The 121st Territorial Defense Brigade () is a military formation of the Territorial Defense Forces (Ukraine), Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Oblast. It is part of Operational Command South. History Formation In 2018 the brigade was formed in Kirovohrad Oblast. Colonel Dmytro Zavorotniuk went to command 101st Territorial Defense Brigade (Ukraine), 101st Territorial Defense Brigade. He was replaced with Lieutenant colonel Serhii Kolos in 2021. Exercises were held from 25 to 29 September, 23 to 25 October in 2018. 3 to 5 September, 24 to 27 September in 2019 and 16 to 18 January in 2020. During April 2021 brigade held training exercise for reservists. On 7 February 2022 brigade was 70% staffed, with close to 15% females. 30-40% of those who joined were veterans of the War in Donbas (2014–2022), War in Donbas. Kherson
Kherson (Ukrainian language, Ukrainian and , , ) is a port city in southern Ukraine that serves as the administrative centre of Kherson Oblast. Svitlovodsk (, ) is a city located on the banks of the Dnieper River in Oleksandriia Raion, part of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. Novoukrainka (, ) is a city in Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center of Novoukrainka Raion. Holovanivsk
Holovanivsk (, ) is a rural settlement and the administrative center of Holovanivsk Raion in the west of Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Holovanivsk settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History It was a village in the Baltsky Uyezd of the Podolian Governorate of the Russian Empire. A local newspaper is published here since March 1932. The village was a shtetl home to thousands of Jews through the 1930s. Kropyvnytskyi (, ) is a city in central Ukraine, situated on the Inhul, Inhul River. It serves as the administrative center of Kirovohrad Oblast. Population: Over its history, Kropyvnytskyi has changed its name several times. The settlement was known as Yelysavethrad after Empress Elizabeth of Russia from 1752 to 1924, or simply Elysavet.
