11th Central Committee Of The Chinese Communist Party
The 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was in a five-year session from 1977 to 1982. The 10th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party preceded it. It held seven plenary sessions in the five-year period. It was formally succeeded by the 12th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. It elected the 11th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party in 1977. It was the first Politburo elected after Mao Zedong's death in 1976. This politburo was the first to discuss China's wide economic reforms, from the preceding period of high economic control. Ma Xingyuan (November 1917 – November 8, 2005, zh, 马兴元) was born in 1917 in Xiyang County, Shanxi Province. He served as Secretary of the Secretariat of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Governor of Fujian Province, and Director of the Fujian Provincial Advisory Committee of the CCP. Wang Shitai () (March 17, 1910 – March 14, 2008) was a People's Republic of China politician. He was born in Luochuan County, Shaanxi Province. He was governor of Gansu, chairman of the Gansu People's Congress, and twice CPPCC Committee chairman of Gansu. He was a delegate to the 1st National People's Congress (1954–1959), 5th National People's Congress (1978–1983) and 6th National People's Congress (1983–1988).
