10th Operational Corps
The 10th Operational Corps is a combined arms corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces that oversees nine brigades from elements of several service branches of the AFU. The 10th OC has an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 troops, along with 200 tanks, 700 infantry fighting vehicles and armored trucks. The 10th OC is one of at least two corps in the Ukrainian army, the other being the 9th Strategic Reserve Corps. Unlike its other formations, it is a joint forces unit. Poltava (, ; uk, Полтава ) is a city located on the Vorskla River in central Ukraine. It is the capital city of the Poltava Oblast (province) and of the surrounding Poltava Raion (district) of the oblast. The 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade ( uk, 46-та окрема аеромобільна бригада; 46 ОАеМБр; Military Unit Number A4350) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces formed in 2016, based in Poltava. History The United Kingdom offered the Ukrainian government training on British soil for Ukrainian recruits, and the 46th Air Assault Brigade was one of the selected brigades. Fresh Western supplies, like as Wolfhound MRAPs and Husky TSV tactical vehicles, were also delivered to the brigade. The Brigade was converted from a heavy assault brigade to a light assault brigade.
