Taizō Mikazuki
is a Japanese politician and the current governor of Shiga Prefecture, having been elected to the position in July 2014. He previously served in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) as a member of the Democratic Party of Japan. Career A native of Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Mikazuki joined the West Japan Railway Company in 1994 after graduating from Hitotsubashi University's Faculty of Economics. From 1999 he was the chairman of the "young and women employees" committee of both the West Japan Railway Trade Union and Japan Railway Trade Unions Confederation. In 2002 he resigned from JR West to study at the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management. is a passenger railway station located in the town of Sayō, Sayō District, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, operated by West Japan Railway Company (JR West). Tenka-Goken
The are a group of five Japanese swords. Three are National Treasures of Japan, one an Imperial Property, and one a holy relic of Nichiren Buddhism. Among the five, some regard Dōjigiri as "the yokozuna of all Japanese swords" along with Ōkanehira ( :ja:大包平).Sato, 1990. pp. 116–117. Origin As of 2017, the term is widely-recognized among Japanese sword connoisseurs. For example, the national institute uses the word in an explanation for Mikazuki. Although some researchers claim the term dates back to the Muromachi period (1333–1573), its origin is unknown. Suiken Fukunaga cites a book written in the fifth year of Genroku (1692–1693),Fukunaga, 1993. vol. 3, p. 302 and vol. 5, p. 379. so the term is traceable back to at least the late 17th century if the citation is to be believed. is the fourth single from Ayaka, released on September 27, 2006. Information "Mikazuki" was originally supposed to be Ayaka's first single but was pushed back. A music video was produced before Ayaka's first single, "I Believe", was even released. The song was used as a commercial song for a chain of Japanese record stores and later used for a drama known as ''@Human''. When the single was released, it became Ayaka's first number-one single. Chart performance In April 2009, when the Recording Industry Association of Japan created the RIAJ Digital Track Chart "Mikazuki" debuted at No. 40. The song charted below the Top 40s until the release of her compilation album '' Ayaka's History 2006–2009'' on September 23, 2009, when it peaked at No. 18. The Danzan Ryu lists differ in concept from the Kodokan Judo lists in that the techniques are taught in kata form in some applicable context, rather than simply demonstrating and enumerating a single technique. Deashi Hayanada, for example, is not a single technique, but a combination of Deashi Harai (foot sweep) and Tenada Shime (cross arm bar). Emphasis on randori may vary greatly from one dojo to the next. There are multiple romanizations, and many arts have more than one name. This article will attempt to represent the commonly used romanization variants. In addition, not all sources agree on the correct kanji (Japanese characters) for each technique or list. The alternative renderings are noted. The romanization was not agreed to until 1957. The earlier spellings are now archaic. Akira Mikazuki
was a Japanese politician who served as the Minister of Justice and Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. He was a leading figure in civil procedure scholarship. Career Mikazuki was an attorney and law professor. He was a member of the Arbitration Law Study Group who drafted the arbitration law in 1989. He was appointed Minister of Justice under the non-Liberal Democratic Party Hosokawa Cabinet, although he was not a politician. He replaced Masaharu Gotoda as justice minister. He was in office from 9 August 1993 to 28 April 1994. His successor was Shigeto Nagano. Mikazuki reported that anyone who had plans to abolish capital punishment could not accept an appointment as justice minister. He approved executions for four death row inmates and believed in the deterrent effect of capital punishment. Four executions were carried out during his term in Autumn 1993. Enon (band)
Enon was an indie rock band founded by John Schmersal, Rick Lee, and Steve Calhoon that was active from 1997 to 2011; for most of its history, however, Enon was a three-piece outfit composed of Schmersal, Toko Yasuda, and Matt Schulz. Though situated for a time in Philadelphia, Enon was primarily known for being part of the New York music scene. Enon was known for using Moog synthesizers and Teisco guitars. Schmersal's green guitar he often used on stage was a Teisco TG-64, and he also owns a Teisco Del Rey. Yasuda played a Fender Jazz Bass with an adapted tuning machine, which allowed quickly tuning to D from E.
