The Caucasus () or Caucasia (), is a region between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, mainly comprising Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia (country), Georgia, and parts of Southern Russia. Natiq Aghaami oglu Aliyev ( az, Natiq Ağaəmi oğlu Əliyev; November 23, 1947 – June 9, 2017) was an Azerbaijani politician. He served as the president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic and was the Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan Republic at the time of his death.
