Žygimantas Janavičius
Žygimantas Janavičius (born February 20, 1989) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for BC Neptūnas, Neptūnas Klaipėda of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Standing at tall and weighing , he plays as a point guard. Professional career Janavičius made his pro debut with BC Alytus in 2005. He played two seasons with the club in the National Basketball League (Lithuania), NKL. In 2007, Janavičius signed with BC Žalgiris, Žalgiris of Kaunas. He played one season for youth team, which were competing in National Basketball League (Lithuania), NKL, and became the champion of the league. He played for BC Žalgiris in 2008–09, and half of the season in 2009–10, but because he was only given a small role on the team, he asked for to be loaned to Kauno Aisčiai, where he finished the season. The FIBA U18 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Juniors. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France. National Basketball League (Lithuania)
The National Basketball League (NKL) (), also known as 7bet-NKL for sponsorship reasons, is the second-tier basketball minor league in Lithuania. It is placed below the top division Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). The competition currently consists of 15 teams. The champions of the league have the option to promote to the LKL.
